With its distinctive L finesse design, the IS 250 looks fast standing still. The front bumper and grille integrate cleanly with the fog lights, creating a bold, confident stance. The stylish alloy wheels with low profile tyres add to the IS 250's dynamic styling and impressive cornering.

Smart Key Card with push button start

The IS 250 comes with a Smart Key, which allows you to lock and unlock the door while the key remains in your pocket or handbag. The Sports Luxury model comes with an additional hands-free Smart Key Card, which neatly tucks into your wallet or pocket. When the proximity sensor detects the presence of your uniquely coded Smart Key or Smart Key Card, the door unlocks as soon as you touch the handle.

Self-dimming mirrors

The exterior mirrors on IS 250 models feature turn indicators and a sleek, aerodynamic look which reduces wind noise. On F Sport and Sports Luxury Electro-Chromatic mirrors automatically dim when they detect excessive light, such as the glare of headlights from following vehicles. Glare reduction can also help reduce driver fatigue.

Intelligent front and rear lighting

The IS 250 Sports Luxury includes Daytime Running Lights which make the vehicle more visible to other drivers and pedestrians while the powerful High-Intensity Discharge headlamps give you greater night vision. The rear tail lights incorporate LED lamps that illuminate faster than conventional tail lamps, so when you apply the brakes, drivers behind you are alerted sooner.

Adapt to the weather conditions

Intuitive rain sensing wipers on the F Sport and Sports Luxury turn on automatically when water is detected on the windshield. On sunnier days, you can open the optional power

Heated leather-accented front seats

On cool days, heated front seats keep you warm. The fronts seats in the Sports Luxury model are also ventilated to keep you cool in warmer weather. Ten-way power adjustments let you easily tailor seating settings to maintain your preferred posture, while the driver's memory function in the F Sport and Sports Luxury allows you to recall your preferred seat, exterior mirror and steering column positions at the touch of a button.

Advanced climate control

The advanced dual zone climate control air conditioning in the IS 250 uses a series of temperature sensors throughout the cabin to monitor the temperature and maintain your preferred comfort settings. Air is filtered to help keep the cabin free of dust, pollen and odours.

Satellite navigation and touchscreen control

The prime information resource in the IS 250 is the seven inch LCD touchscreen located in the centre console of the F Sport and Sports Luxury. Both include a Satellite Navigation system1, which guides you efficiently to your destination with voice prompts and points of interest. In addition, whenever reverse gear is engaged, images from the Rear View Camera2 are displayed on the LCD screen. Parking reference lines overlay the Rear View Camera footage to help guide you safely into place.

Mark Levinson surround sound

World renowned audio technology specialist Mark Levinson partnered with Lexus to design an audio system for the IS 250 F Sport and Sports Luxury which envelops you in perfectly balanced, luxurious sound. The audio system comes as standard with 14 speakers and a six disc DVD/CD changer. Audio controls are conveniently located on the steering wheel, while USB and AUX connectors allow you to play audio from flash memory drives and control your iPod®3 using the LCD screen4. The IS 250 Prestige model includes a premium 13 speaker audio system with a six disc CD changer.

BluetoothTM mobile connectivity

The steering wheel incorporates controls for the audio, BluetoothTM5 systems, cruise control, Multi Information Display and phone. Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity allows for hands-free communication. You can make phone calls by using the steering wheel controls with voice activation. You can also load and display the phone address book with your contacts on the LCD screen.
