Smart Key for easy entry

With a Smart Key in your pocket or bag, you can open the front doors simply by gripping the handle and then, with your foot on the brake, start the engine at the touch of a button. The Sports Luxury model offers a credit card-sized Smart Key Card, with all the intelligent functions and a neatly concealed conventional key, allowing you to open the doors even if the Smart Key battery is flat. The slim Smart Key Card has the added benefit of fitting neatly inside your purse or wallet.

The elegance of L finesse design

L finesse gives the LX 570 a design that transcends traditional four wheel drive styling. From the wide front grille to the rear spoiler, the LX 570 evokes powerful elegance. This design also results in enhanced aerodynamic performance for improved fuel economy and reduced interior noise. An aero body kit complements the Sports Luxury vehicle's powerful on-road presence and flowing body lines.

Front and side view monitors for visibly easier parking

A camera mounted in the front grille of the Sports Luxury model displays an extensive view of the area in front of the vehicle on the LCD screen1. The passenger exterior mirror incorporates a side camera that provides a broad view of the area alongside the vehicle.

Electrochromatic heated exterior mirrors

After dark, electrochromatic exterior mirrors quell the annoyance of headlamp glare from following traffic. They are also heated, activating whenever the rear demister is turned on. Then for easier reversing, they tilt down when reversing for an improved view of what's behind.

Rain just goes away

Stay focused on the road thanks to rain sensing wipers that activate as soon as water falls on the windscreen. In addition, special coatings on the front side windows quickly disperse water droplets for a clearer view of your surroundings.

Roof rails and racks

Neatly integrated roof rails and racks flow elegantly with the body design. You can carry luggage or attach accessories to carry mountain bikes, skis or cargo pods on both the Sports and Sports Luxury models.

Power operated moonroof

The Sports model rides on elegant 18 inch alloy wheels, while the Sports Luxury is distinguished by 10 spoke 20 inch alloy wheels, both complementing the look of the integrated side steps. A full sized spare ensures you can drive on without restriction if you ever have a flat tyre.

Powered rear tailgate

You can open or close the tailgate at the touch of the button using controls beneath the tailgate or from the driver's seat.

Adaptive Front-lighting System

When travelling on winding roads, an intelligent Adaptive Front-lighting System swivels the low beam headlamps to greatly improve forward visibility - it's the next best thing to seeing around corners.

Welcome aboard

As you approach the vehicle after dark, a puddle of light beneath each exterior mirror illuminates your path. Then as you step inside, a choreographed lighting sequence guides your way and provides a warm welcome.

The brilliant clarity of an Optitron instrument panel

The Optitron instrument panel offers easy access to the controls, while the illumination adjusts to changes in ambient light for optimum readability.

All-seasons comfort with heated and ventilated front seats

In the Sports Luxury model, the front and second row seats can be heated for a warm welcome on frosty mornings. On hot steamy days, the front seats are internally air conditioned for increased comfort.

Four zone climate control

Independent controls allow the two front seat and two second row occupants to maintain individual temperature settings. Air vents throughout the cabin ensure even circulation to all occupants.

DVD-based Satellite Navigation guides you on your way

As you venture into the unknown, the DVD-based Satellite Navigation system will direct you efficiently to your destination, with high resolution graphics and intuitive functionality on the LCD touchscreen. Visual maps and spoken commands provide directions, while voice commands provide concise directions, allowing you to keep your eyes on the road2.

Inbuilt Bluetooth TM keeps you in touch

You can register your Bluetooth-compatible mobile phone with the LX 570 for easy hands-free communication and call functions right at your fingertips3. You can load and display your phone's address book on the LCD touchscreen, and make or receive calls. You can also answer calls using the steering wheel controls.

Flexible seating and luggage arrangements

The front seats are power adjustable so the ideal seat position is right at your fingertips. The driver's seat has lumbar support and can instantly recall your personal seat, steering wheel and exterior mirror adjustments. The second row seats have a power slide function for increased leg room or luggage room. You can retract the three-way 40/20/40 split seat backs at the touch of a button. The 50/50 split third row neatly folds away, with full power operation. When no one is sitting in the rear centre seat, the headrest folds down for improved rear visibility.

Mark Levinson surround sound audio system

Second and third row passengers can view DVD movies on the move with a nine inch LCD screen, which unfolds from the ceiling. World renowned audio designer Mark Levinson created a 19 speaker audio system to suit the LX 570's whisper quiet cabin. The six disc player handles CDs, DVDs and MP3/WMA discs.

Self-dimming rear vision mirror

For night driving, an Electro-Chromatic interior mirror detects excessive light from the glare of headlights from following vehicles. The surface of the mirror will automatically dim to reduce the annoyance of headlamp glare from following vehicles.
