Smart lighting for better visibility

The High-Intensity Discharge headlamps provide a whiter, broader spread of light for better visibility at night. The lights automatically adjust their level to ensure they're pointing in the right direction even if you're carrying a heavy load. In the Sports Luxury model, an Adaptive Front-lighting System swivels the headlamps when travelling around tight bends to greatly improve forward visibility. It's the next best thing to seeing around corners.

Mirrors and cameras to see around corners

The exterior mirrors provide an expansive view of the area behind you. Large indicators have also been incorporated in the mirrors to help other motorists to see you. When you select reverse gear, a Rear View Camera1 provides a clear picture of the area immediately behind the rear bumper, displayed on the LCD screen in the centre console.

Reference lines help you judge distances. The Sports Luxury model also features a wide-angle side camera built into the left exterior mirror. When you're parking, it displays an expansive view of the area to the left of the vehicle, for easier manoeuvring.

Smart Key for easy entry

With a Smart Key in your pocket or bag, you can open the front doors simply by gripping the handle and then, with your foot on the brake pedal, you can start the engine at the touch of a button. The Sports Luxury model offers a credit card-sized Smart Key Card, with all the intelligent functions and a neatly concealed conventional key, allowing you to open the doors even if the Smart Key Card battery is flat. The slim Smart Key Card has the added benefit of fitting neatly inside your purse or wallet.

Elegant design

To complement the sleek L finesse design, a vibrant colour palette includes colours such as Blue Pearl, which exudes a shimmering blue with a subtle, silver finish. The RX 350 Prestige model features 18 inch, five spoke alloy wheels. The Sports and Sports Luxury models have seven spoke, 19 inch alloy wheels with lower profile tyres that add to the clean looks and crisp handling.

Roof rails and moonroof

On sunnier days, in the Sports and Sports Luxury models, you can open the power operated moonroof for extra ventilation and open air cruising. All RX models also come with roof rails. Purchasing the accessory cross-bars allows you to attach ski carriers, bike racks and luggage pods. The roof rails have been designed to integrate neatly with the flowing L finesse styling.

Welcome aboard

As you approach the vehicle after dark, a puddle of light beneath each exterior mirror illuminates your path. Then as you step inside, a choreographed lighting sequence guides your way and provides a warm welcome.

Lexus Remote Touch – control at your fingertips

The Lexus Remote Touch controller puts key vehicle functions at your fingertips. Similar to a computer mouse, you can access up to 20 functions on the LCD screen in the centre console. For instance, you can plot your route on the Satellite Navigation system with just a few clicks. The screen uses Organic Light Emitting Diode technology to ensure brilliant readability in all light situations, even glare from direct sunlight, fog or snow.

Satellite Navigation as standard

An advanced DVD-based Satellite Navigation system is standard across the RX line. It guides you to your destination with visual maps or spoken commands, so getting lost isn't an option1.

Unfold all the space you need for cargo

The power rear door opens to reveal a 466 litre cargo area - room for up to four suitcases. At the flick of a lever, the rear seats can be folded down to allow a range of passenger and cargo combinations. The RX 350 comes standard with a compact, temporary spare tyre, leaving you with a flat floor for more cargo. If you prefer, you can select the option of a full sized spare with a raised floor and slightly reduced cargo capacity.

Head-Up Display keeps your eyes on the road

In the Sports Luxury model, a Head-Up Display positions key information on the windscreen just above the dash panel. You can view your speed, Satellite Navigation directions, audio settings and Pre-Collision safety System brake warnings without having to take your eyes off the road.

Memory settings

The driver and front passenger seat in the Sports Luxury, and the driver's seat in the Prestige and Sports, feature power adjustment options and three memory settings, which allow you to recall your preferred seat position. In addition, the driver can control the exterior mirror and steering column position at the touch of a button.

For your listening pleasure

All RX 350 grades include a 12 speaker MP3/WMA-compatible audio system, complete with a 6 disc, in-dash CD changer and a 3.5mm auxiliary input for selected portable MP3 players. The Sports Luxury model offers the option of a 15 speaker, 7.1 channel surround sound system created by renowned audio designer Mark Levinson.

Steering wheel with a Multi Information Switch

You can scroll through important pieces of information and control key technologies via the Multi Information Switch on the steering wheel. With fingertip ease, you can access functions like the Adaptive Front Lighting System, without taking your hands off the wheel.

The comfort of heated and ventilated seating

All RX models feature leather-accented interiors. The Sports Luxury model also features heated and ventilated front seats, to keep you refreshed on long hot journeys and warm on winter days.
