Ethanol and your Lexus

Lexus displays an overriding concern for the environment through cleaner emissions and the use of renewable energy resources. To that end, most models have been engineered to perform on ‘E10’, or unleaded petrol blended with 10% Ethanol. The exception is IS200 models built prior to 2002, due to incompatibility with fuel system materials.

CAUTION: Use of Ethanol blends greater than 10% are neither approved nor recommended in any Lexus.

Lexus Service Centre

It may be tempting to take your Lexus to a local mechanic for service, however doing so could place your Lexus and your Lexus Warranty at risk.

The technicians at Lexus of Darwin Service Centre have been specially trained to repair Lexus vehicles, and are up-to-date with the latest advancements in Lexus technology. Only a Lexus Service Centre has the diagnostic equipment capable of reading the Lexus engine management computers fully.

Lexus of Darwin Service Centre uses only Genuine Lexus Parts, keeping the integrity of your Lexus intact while also protecting your Lexus Warranty.

Under your Lexus four-year / 100,000km (whichever occurs first) Warranty, you enjoy benefits you will only receive from a Lexus of Darwin Service Centre. This includes providing you with a complimentary loan vehicle to minimise disruption during your vehicle’s service. What’s more, your vehicle can be collected from your home or office and returned fully serviced and immaculately clean.

Lexus DriveCare

The Lexus four-year / 100,000km Warranty includes the DriveCare program, offering an unparalleled level of vehicle care and driver assistance that makes Lexus ownership an unqualified pleasure.

The Lexus DriveCare program provides you with 24-hour roadside assistance during your Lexus Warranty period.

Lexus has 900 response centres around the country so you are assured of prompt assistance on almost every occasion when you need it.

Current members of State Motoring Bodies are eligible for the 'Bridge Benefit' under which your membership can be suspended for the duration of DriveCare. During this time you don't need to pay your State Motoring Body membership fees but will still keep and accrue your years of service active , and will also maintain access to your member benefits including maps, publications, travel and financial services. Please note that you will not be able to maintain any club voting rights during this period.
